Chat quality depends on how well the character is set up, but a well-built one is a 10/10. Conversation holds attention, the model stays in role, and the writing itself is strong. With a good character and the tuning dialed in, the chat is genuinely immersive.

Memory Test

Memory is a real strength. We planted a fact early, the name of a pet, and checked recall later. After 100 messages and again 21 days later, the companion still remembered both the pet's name and its breed. Long-term recall that survives three weeks and a long message history is a strong result, and better than many rivals manage.

Character Consistency and What Model It Runs On

We tried to break character, pushing companions to admit they were an AI or contradict their persona. Overall consistency is a 9/10, the best we have tested so far. Across a lot of scenarios the companion refused to break, staying in character rather than slipping into "I'm an AI" talk. How well it holds depends on the scenario and how carefully the character is built, but strong setups almost never cracked.

One detail stood out. In most chats the companion stayed fully in role and denied being a model at all. In another scenario, when pushed, it said it runs on Claude. That is worth flagging: it suggests OurDream may route through Claude under the hood, possibly as part of how the model is packaged. We are leaving that as an open question, but it is an interesting look behind the curtain for anyone who cares what powers the chat.

NSFW and Intimate Content

There is effectively no limit. OurDream will generate strong NSFW content, and the wide-open mode means intimate roleplay is not held back the way it is on stricter apps.

Image Generation

Image quality is solid, around 8/10. The main friction is speed: images can take a while, and you often need to refresh for the finished image to appear. The upside is that you can keep chatting while an image generates, so you are not stuck waiting. Each image costs 5 coins.

Video quality is excellent. The one catch is that it does not play inside the chat, so the experience is less seamless than it could be.

They feel generic and flat, with no real emotion, and the call often misheard what we said, confusing words like "five" and "why."
